My name is Rosemary Drewe.
I am a fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance Teacher and have been teaching for many years. My daughter Katherine Fraser and I had the very successful ballet school in Albury for over thirty years .
I was born in Wagga and started to learn ballet in Wagga , until I went to the Frances Scully Borovansky ballet school in Sydney as a full time student .
I studied under teachers who were at that time household names.
Kathleen Daintry, Jessie Brownly , Dame Nellie Potts and when he had time the great Borovansky himself .
All these were expert in their fields and the ladies were examiners for the royal academy of dance. I am a registered teacher with academy and have done all my exams from primary to advanced.
I have taught many children ,some with special needs ,these children hold a very special place in my heart as my late husband and I had a beautiful Downs Syndrome son and adopted a fine young man with Autism.
My daughter and I had wonderful exam results in our years of teaching together. Passing on knowledge to the young is an honour and to do it properly is vital.
I look forward to meeting your children, and am thrilled to be teaching with such fine young teachers. I like to see myself like a Nanna and think of children as gifts that need care and protection . Family being the most important part of any community.
I look forward to meeting all of you .
