Jazz

Often associated with musicals such as Chicago or Fame, modern jazz is also the style used by pop stars such as Kylie Minogue, Madonna and Britney Spears, and often features in pop concerts, opening ceremonies and music videos.

Jazz Technique

Focusing on stability, alignment, strength and flexibility. The class works on balance, turns and extensions relating specifically to jazz. It also teaches basic musicality and physical, choreographic and rhythmic dynamics.

What to wear?

Jazz shoes / jazz sneakers or cotton socks, non-restrictive clothing [something you would wear to the gym – track / dance pants, leotards, aerobic top, t-shirt].

Please make sure your child is wearing pants and a tidy top no school uniforms jeans, skirts or untidy wear.
