Welcome to the Pulsate Dance Academy website. At Pulsate, we believe that it doesn't matter how early or late you start your dance career, or your reason for wanting to dance, everyone should be given the opportunity to do so!

Pulsate Dance Academy prides itself on providing the best possible classical training to all students. Pulsate is registered with the Royal Academy of Dance and is accredited to teach the Royal Academy Syllabus (RAD). Owner and Director of the school, Tanya Singh, is an accredited teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and is a former (and very talented) dancer herself with both National and International training and competition experience.

Whether you want to forge a career in the dancing world, dance for fun and make new friends or to keep fit, Pulsate has the class or classes for you. We offer Classical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Jazz disciplines from beginner to advanced. You can also sit Royal Academy of Dance Exams for Ballet Grades 2-8 and Vocational (Intermediate Foundation to Solo Seal) if you choose. Our youngest students are in the Tiny Dancer class and need to be 3 years old to join. Advanced classes are designed for those who want to seriously pursue a career in the dance industry - whether in Musical Theatre, Commercial Dance or Classical Ballet and we have had several students recently take this path, with some amazing results.

At Pulsate, we understand that dancing for competition is not for everyone and we respect that. There is no pressure or expectation for you to join the various performance troupes we have, but if competing is something you're interested in then please speak to Tanya and discuss your options in further detail, we'd love to have you!

As our achievements over the past 10 years reflect, there are advantages to our smaller dance school size. Each student receives the care, nurture, attention and support they deserve to achieve their personal goals in dance and in life through what can sometimes be rough waters to navigate.
